Room 10's week at a glance: Feb 11-13

Hello friends and family,

We would like to share with you what we did this week in class.

Art

"We made art projects for Valentines day." - Joe

" We learnt about Chris Uphues who is a street artist. Our art was inspired by his work." - Kai

"We made pictures of hearts with faces." Braxson

Writing 

"We made an organization rubric." -Ava
" We are doing art." - Ryleigh

"We have been working on organizing our writing using graphic organizers and we even made our own rubric." Kai
"In math we used arrays using floor tiles. As big as 120 floor tiles." Ben

Math 

"In math we did multiplication questions using arrays." Emma

"In math we did patterns." Jacob

"In math the grade 4's did math rotations." Kendall

Social Studies

"In grade social studies we are learning about India, Peru, Ukraine and Tunsia." -Sam

"Peru is in South America." Landon

"Tunisia is in Africa." André

"Indias hottest temperature reaches plus 45 degrees celsius." Henry

" Tunsia's heat can reach up to an average of 81 degrees and we learn't cursive writing." Simon

"The Urkranian mountains are the Crimean mountains they are heavily and less eroded." Julia

"India has the Himalyan mountains." Zac

"In Ukraine the temperature can get over 85 degress." Ava

"Tunsia has the Atlas mountains and Tunsia and had the smallest mountain." _ Kai

"Ukraine is located in Europe." Kai and Justin

"India has the worlds third highest mountain." Henry

"It would be 19 hours to fly from India to Alberta." Jacob

"The Himalayan mountains in India can be 8850 meters." AbdulAziz

"In the winter in Urkraine the temperature is 4." Ava

"The average day in Peru in the summer can reach up to 28 degrees celsius." Sam

"The mountains of Peru are called the Andes and are 6000 meters tall." Joe

"Lima is the capital city of Peru." Maryum


"Me and Ms O worked on a project learning about Calgary." Dane



"On Wednesday we wrote the blog with everyones ideas." Justin


"On Wednesday we had the Valentine card exchange." Joe
