Figurative Language
The Grade 3/4 students in room 11 have been learning about figurative language. Figurative language is you don't mean exactly what you say and you make a comparison. The types of figurative language we've learned about are idioms, hyperbole, onomatopoeia, metaphor, similes and personification. For example, "My thirsty lawn was begging for water." This week we are illustrating different types of similes.
