Dear grade 4 families,
We have been learning about using a variety of strategies to add multi-digit numbers in math. On Monday, there will be an in-class check in to see how our students are getting along with addition. Please be sure to practice a few questions over the weekend using at least 2 of the strategies (open number line, break apart, vertical addition and traditional algorithm) we've discussed in class.
It's important that students are able to demonstrate their understanding by showing all of their work. These strategies are a great way to do that!
Have a great weekend!
Ms. Tang
