Hello Parents
I hope you had a great week today. We had an exciting week and we wanted to share the highlights of the week with you what we did.
Monday
We had our last class with STEM learning lab coding our dot and dash robots we had so much fun. After we did a sharing circle and we were able to see each others robots. All of the groups were able to code dot and dash to speak to one another.
Tuesday
On Tuesday we started writing our Way Back Home stories. We watched a video about a child who goes to outer space then his rocket runs out of gas. The students have started writing stories about the video they watched. We also learnt about how to write a good hook in a story as well as point of view in a story. Our stories are turning out great
Wednesday
On Wednesday we had science and we looked at pictures of other countries and learnt about garbage disposal in other countries. We had a great discussion about how we can help other countries to help with their garbage and plastic pollution problem.
Thursday
On Thursday we worked on all of your projects in class. We also had our word work check in today so word work lists will not be going home over the weekend.
