Our Field Trip to Bowness park

Hello Families,

Today we went on a field trip to Bowness park it was a wonderful day of learning and enjoying the sun. Here are some things we did today:

"We took pictures from birds eye view and ants eye view." Zac

"We looked for things in Nature." Landon

"Birds eye view is viewing from the top facing the ground ants eye is putting the camera on the ground and facing up." Kai Q

"We read a book about Haiku's and wrote a Haiku." Justin

"Today with Darcy at Bowness park we learnt the indigenous friendship dance." Kendall

"For Math and Science we made a chart and looked for the things on the chart." Truly

"Ms. Youngblood taught us poetry for our first station." Henry

"A Haiku is a Japanesse type poem." Kai F

"Ms. Tang taught us how to take certain pictures." Ben

"We had three stations math/science, poetry and photography." Kai Q

"Darcy told us how his culture got the name blackfoot nation." Ryleigh

"Darcy told us what the signals are when enemies are coming and predators." Zac

"We learnt about the smoke signals only one is animals if its continual enemies are coming." Henry

"Darcy told us why they were called blackfoot." Jacob

The river was so beautiful and calm today. It was such a sunny day.


We want to thank our 4 wonderful volunteers for coming without you it would not have been the same.
