Room 10's week at a glance- May 21-24

Hello room 10 families,


We wanted to share a little bit about all the amazing learning we have done this week.


We went to Bowness park to connect our learning to nature- Braxson

We had readers theatre- Andre

We finished our persuasive writing- Truly

In grade three math we are moving into how to tell time and how to hours into minutes.- Kai F

In grade 4 math we are learning about decimal addition and subtraction. Using base ten blocks. -Sam

"In science we are working on building toys that stop the usage of one use plastic." Kai Q

"In P.E we played kick ball outside." - Zac

" We had lockdown practice this week." Ben

"We are learning about the food guide." Andre

" We are learning about food marketing. Especially how it targets children because they are much more vulnerable." Henry

"  We are doing a project mapping out how the character Edward Tulane changed in our read aloud." Julia

The students and I had such an amazing time at Bowness park it was the highlight of our week. I hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy the sunshine" - Ms. Youngblood

- The volunteer tea is next Tuesday May 28 2019 from 9:30-10:30. If you have volunteered and like to join please email Ms. Youngblood to RSVP.
-Please bring in materials for building our things that move
