Bowness Park

Today we went on our field trip to Bowness Park! We learned how to do photography and we learned about the 5 rules of composition: point of view (ant's eye view and bird's eye view), lines and patterns, rule of thirds, symmetry and balance! Stay tuned to see some of our master photographs.

We also learned about writing haikus! Did you know there are 5 syllables, 7 syllables and then 5 more syllables to make a haiku?? That's a lot of syllables! We wrote our very own haikus about nature and animals. Ask me about my haiku.

We did math and science where we went around and found animals, waste, creepy crawlies and bugs, people and dogs and kept track of them because scientists track their observations!

In addition to this, we got to see Darcy Turning Robe again! He shared with us about healing, friendship, how the name of their people went from Weasletribe to Blackfoot and the history of the land.

We are exhausted but we had a great time. Thanks families for your support in our learning!
